Zusammen mit einem meiner Partner in crime – meinem DoP Daniel Puschendorf von Artwork Pictures – machte ich mich letztes Wochenende auf den Weg in die Hauptstadt, um dem Berlin Independent Film Festival beizuwohnen. Wir hatten dort nicht nur einen Screening Termin im ältesten Kino Deutschlands Moviemonto, sondern wir waren tatsächlich auch nominiert in den Kategorien Best Short und Best Music Video!
Und ich sagte noch zu Daniel: „Ick gloob, det würd nüscht: Die Direktorin des Festivals hatte weder auf dem Schirm, wer ich bin, noch dass unser Film heute läuft, als ich ihr die Hand geschüttelt habe.“ Ums so größer war die Überraschung, dass wir dann tatsächlich den Preis „Best Music Video 2025“ abgestaubt haben. Vielen Dank Berlin Independent Film Festival. Das ist uns eine große Ehre!
An dieser Stelle auch nochmal meinen expliziten Dank an das ganze Team (national und international!), das bis zum letzten Helferlein mit komplettem Körpereinsatz bei der Sache war, um dieses Beast umzusetzen.

Together with one of my partners in crime – my DoP Daniel Puschendorf from Artwork Pictures – I headed to the capital last weekend to attend the Berlin Independent Film Festival. Not only did we have a screening scheduled at Germany’s oldest cinema, Moviemento, but we were also nominated in the categories Best Short and Best Music Video!
Upon arrival I said to Daniel: „I don’t think this is gonna happen – neither did the festival director recognize who I was nor did she know that our film was screening today when I shook her hand.“ So you can imagine our surprise when we actually took home the „Best Music Video 2025“ award!
A huge thank you to the Berlin Independent Film Festival – it’s a great honor!
Also, my deepest gratitude to the entire team (both national and international!), from the core crew to the very last helping hand, who gave their all to bring this beast to life.
